The Township Tax Collector's Office collects and deposits all funds received by the Township, as well as collects, receipts and accounts for sanitary sewer rent, solid waste fees, real estate taxes and interim real estate taxes.

The flat/face period deadline for the 2020 Annual Township/County R/E tax bill sent on 31 January 2020 has been extended until 3 August 2020. All payments received after that date will be assessed a ten percent penalty. No other deadlines for any other Real Estate Tax bills (including interim bills) or Sanitary Sewer Rent have been changed.
Due to public health and safety concerns, the Township Tax Collector’s office is closed until further notice. The staff is working remotely from home. If you have questions, please email them to email@example.com We will try to answer as quickly as possible.
We are not accepting any payments at the Township Building. We offer a number of options to pay:
- You can use your bank’s bill pay service. Set us up as Tax Collector Lower Merion, use your nine digit parcel number as printed on your bill for your account number, and use the Township address of 75 E Lancaster Ave. We get all of these payments electronically.
- You can pay electronically as shown below. The fee for a credit card is 2.67% but an automatic debit is only $1.50.
- You can mail your payment to our lockbox using the coupon included on your bill.
- We cannot accept cash at this time.
We will do everything we can to return to normal as soon as possible, but the health and safety of all of our employees as well as our citizens is our number one priority. We will do our best to accommodate anyone who is impacted by this closing.

All residents and organizations are urged to review the mailing address used by the Board of Assessment to send out real estate tax bills. Please find your property here (Montgomery County website). If your mailing address is incorrect or needs to be changed, please send a signed notice to the Tax Collector, Lower Merion Township, 75 E Lancaster Ave, Ardmore PA 19003. Please note that failure to receive a real estate tax bill does not absolve a taxpayer from their obligation to pay their bills in a timely manner.
The Tax Collector’s Office is now offering residents and taxpayers in Lower Merion the opportunity to sign up for automatic payment of real estate taxes and sanitary sewer fees. You can sign to have us automatically charge your bank account for real estate taxes and/or sanitary sewer fees. We will charge your account at discount approximately fifteen (15) days before the discount due date. If demand for this service is high enough we will consider expanding it to flat payments or school tax installments, but currently this is not being offered.
