Sometime overnight on July 6th, a commercial burglary occurred at The Belmont Hills Pool Snack Bar located at 112 Mary Watersford Rd, Bala Cynwyd. Entry was gained by prying a door. Taken were cases of soda, a fan and ice cream.
Sometime between 7-3-2020 to 7-6-2020 an apartment was burglarized at the Casa del Sol Apartments, 410 W. Lancaster Avenue, Haverford. Entry into the apartment was gained by forcing open a side courtyard door. Once inside the suspect removed golf clubs, sneakers, and cell phones.
On 7-6-2020 sometime between 1:30 AM and 3 PM a residence on the 200 Block of Belmont Ave was entered. Entry was gained by removing a second floor window screen. Missing from the home is a small black terrier.
June 29, 2020
Last evening at approximately 10:15 an armed robbery occurred in the Wawa parking Lot, 193 Belmont Ave, Bala Cynwyd. In this incident, a black male wearing a black shirt approached two males who had exited the store. Taken from them was 40.00. As the suspect fled he fired one round in the direction of the victims. There were no injuries and the suspect was not located.
At approximately 1:00 AM, May 23rd, a residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Henley Road, Penn Wynne. Entry into the residence was gained by an unlocked garage door. Once inside the suspects removed electronics and 2015 black Acura TLX. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
April 20, 2020
Sometime overnight on April 16th, 2020, a commercial burglary occurred at 380 Montgomery Avenue, Merion-76 Gas Station. Entry into the business was gained by forcing open a door. Once inside the actors removed an unknown amount of mechanics tools.
April 13, 2020
On 4-11, at approximately 10:56 PM an armed robbery occurred at 7-11 Store, 169 W. City Avenue, Bala. In this incident, a black male armed with a hand gun, wearing blue hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, black shoes and a green surgical mask entered the store and demanded money. He fled the scene on foot.
March 23, 2020
Sometime between 6:15AM on 3/19 and 7AM on 3/20 a residential burglary occurred in the 200 Block of Haverford Rd, Wynnewood. Entry into the residence was gained by forcing a window. Once inside the suspects removed jewelry and electronics.
Overnight on March 21st, a residential burglary occurred in the 1200 block of Clubhouse Rd, Gladwyne. Entry was made into the garage and items were removed from two vehicles.
Yesterday, at approximately 5:30 PM, a commercial burglary occurred at Shihadeh Rugs located at 116 Cricket Avenue. Entry into the business was gained by unknown means. Once inside the actors removed 2 cell phones.
Sometime overnight on February 24th a commercial burglary occurred at the former J. Crew Store located at 49 Anderson Ave. Ardmore. This site is under construction. Entry into the business was gained by forcing the rear door. It does not appear that anything is missing.
February 10, 2020
On Saturday morning at approximately 12:30 AM, a commercial burglary occurred at the AT&T Store located at 161 E. City Ave, Bala Cynwyd. Entry into the business was gained by smashing out the glass front door. Once inside the suspects removed several cell phones.
January 27, 2020
Yesterday morning at 6AM a commercial burglary was discovered at The Cafe' located in 111 Presidential Blvd, Bala. Entry into the business was gained by forcing the door to the suite. Cash was taken.
January 23, 2020
Yesterday at approximately 3PM a residential burglary was discovered on the 300 Block of Hidden River Rd, Penn Valley. Entry into the residence was gained by breaking a window. Once inside the suspect removed a bicycle. Responding officers located the suspect and he was arrested.
