Lower Merion Township has partnered with Parkmobile, LLC to allow Township residents and visitors to use their mobile devices to pay for metered parking. Since April 2018, Parkmobile has been available on meters throughout the Township—look for the meters with the company’s stickers on them. To use Parkmobile, customers register for free through the app for iPhone, Android or online at Parkmobile.comParkmobile infographic, app

After setting up an account, customers can immediately begin using the system with their registered mobile device. The app keeps track of the meter’s time and alerts customers, who then have the option of adding time to the meter right from their phone or device.

(NOTE: In addition to the regular meter charges, Parkmobile charges a convenience fee of 40 cents per transaction—and another 40 cents each time a parking session is extended.)
