If the incident being reported involves a stray animal, injured wildlife, animal bite, damage being caused by an animal or any other type of life-threatening situation, please call 9-1-1.

For immediate response to non-emergency animal complaints, please call the Lower Merion Township Communications Center at 610-649-1000 or the Animal Warden at 610-645-6215.

The Animal Warden’s normal work hours are Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 3:30 PM. During after-hours, a patrol officer will be assigned.

** Please Note: Healthy wildlife will not be trapped or relocated. Many wildlife conflicts can be resolved by making changes, such as removing attractants. Understanding wildlife behavior can help you appreciate and coexist. It is important to remember that all of Pennsylvania’s native wildlife contribute to a well-balanced ecosystem.
