Another important communications tool, bringing you live coverage of Board of Commissioners meetings and other original programming, is our government-access cable television channel, LMTV (Channel 7 on Comcast, Channel 37 on Verizon). All of these meetings and other LMTV original programming are available to be viewed on-demand as well, online, by clicking here.
We also welcome direct communication by person, phone or e-mail, including the valuable Blackboard Connect service and our free phone app for non-emergency reporting of Township matters, at LM Report-It.
With 17 active civic associations, strong attendance at public meetings, hundreds of volunteers who serve on numerous boards and commissions, and daily communications with staff and elected officials, we are benefited by an informed and involved citizenry.
We are a community of diverse interests, backgrounds, and opinions - but most are unanimous on one point: Lower Merion Township is truly a wonderful place in which to live, work and play. This website should encourage even greater involvement and understanding, helping us to be more responsive to all citizens.
Along with providing you with current information about Township government, services, and programs, you will find the latest press releases, meeting announcements, and other pertinent information available 24 hours a day. You may also use this website to communicate back to your elected officials or Township staff via e-mail.
Also provided here is an overview of the Township's organizational structure, scope of services, and frequently asked questions (FAQ).
I especially recommend the Adopted Budget to you, which includes an extensive analysis that demonstrates the Township's approach to financial management, as well as our six-year Capital Improvement Program.
To that end, as well as to address any topic of concern, I invite you to contact me personally at anytime at emcneely@lowermerion.org.
Sincerely,
Ernie B. McNeely
