We have an auto debit program to deduct payments at discount two weeks before the discount due date. If you are interested in signing up for this service, please download and execute the linked form.

Instructions for Bill Pay

You can use your bank’s bill pay service. If you would like the bill pay to be sent electronically by your preferred date, it must be set up with all three components as follows:

• Payee: “Tax Collector Lower Merion”
• Parcel/account number: 8 digit parcel or 8 digit sewer account number, with or without dashes
• Address: “75 E Lancaster Ave, Ardmore PA 19003”

Note: We are not responsible for ensuring that your bank will send this as an immediate electronic transfer, although if it is set up as instructed it should go through electronically. Please check with your bank if you are unsure. Bills sent as paper checks do not receive a postmark and are not guaranteed to be received by the proper due date.

Pay with Check

You can mail payments in the enclosed envelope to our PO Box with the bottom portion of the bill. The address is:

If you require a stamped receipt, please also include the top portion of the bill and a self-addressed stamped envelope.

We cannot guarantee that the United States Postal Service will deliver your payment in a timely manner. There have also been numerous incidents of postal failure. Please consider online options so the funds are delivered safely and instantaneously. 

Instructions for Online Payment

Click here to pay your real estate taxes or sanitary sewer rent bill online.

You do not need to set up an account. Choose to pay “Taxes” or “Sewer” and enter your parcel/account number, and the billed amount. 

IMPORTANT: The system defaults to credit card payments with a fee of 2.65%. To pay the lower $1.50 ACH debit fee, you will need to switch to the “Pay with E-Check” option at checkout.

Please enter your bank account number and 9-digit routing number carefully. Any typo will result in a $50 returned deposit fee. 

Please do not submit payments due to the Montgomery County Tax Claim Bureau.
