Biography
Commissioner Gregory is a lifelong resident of Lower Merion Township and proudly represents Ardmore, Ward 4. He has dedicated his career to public service, community leadership, and improving the quality of life for local residents.
Charles currently serves as Director of Facilities at Friends’ Central School. Prior to this role, he spent over 20 years working for Lower Merion Township in the Parks Department, where he served as a Lead Worker and later as Union President. During his tenure, Charles successfully negotiated four union contracts, advocating for fair working conditions while maintaining strong labor–management relationships.
Earlier in his career, Charles was co-owner of Coleman Travel Consultants and also served as a Director for Resources for Human Development, working alongside his wife to support community-based services.
A devoted family man, Charles has raised two children and four grandchildren in Lower Merion, deepening his commitment to the township’s future. He is also an active community volunteer, supporting youth leadership through his involvement with Boy Scouts Troop 243.
Charles Gregory brings decades of experience in public service, labor relations, and community engagement, and remains committed to serving Lower Merion with integrity, collaboration, and practical leadership.
