Sustainability Incentives for Individuals & Households
The Inflation Reduction Act includes significant upfront discounts and tax credits for homeowners who are investing in home energy conservation and electrification projects that lower their carbon footprint. These subsidies can help to lower net costs for installing solar panels, weatherizing and rewiring your home, or replacing air conditioning, heating, water heaters, stoves, ovens and dryers that are at the end of their useful life with more efficient, electric systems. More information about how to take advantage of these incentives will be provided as it becomes available.
Some subsidies are subject to income limitations - to calculate the subsidies your household could receive, visit https://www.rewiringamerica.org/app/ira-calculator.
For more information, see Rewiring America's Guide to the Inflation Reduction Act.
