The mission of the Lower Merion Fire Department, along with the support of other public service agencies, is to provide the community with the highest level of fire protection services, to minimize life and property loss through suppression, code enforcement, fire prevention, and education. The mission will be accomplished by its volunteer and career firefighting force safely utilizing the latest technology and modern equipment with duty, honor, and sacrifice.
