Township business licenses run from April 15th to April 15th each year.  The 2025 license will not expire until April 15, 2026.  Renewal invoices for the 2026 license will be mailed and emailed at the end of January to all registered businesses.  2026 Certificates will not be available until after March 30, 2026.  

Business Privilege and Mercantile tax forms  Returns for tax years 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 can now be filed electronically through the PA LITE portal.  When filing electronically through the portal, payments must be made via ACH.  

If you would like to register to efile your Township business privilege/mercantile tax returns, please email businesstax@lowermerion.org.   Please provide your Township tax account number and business name.  You will receive a welcome email with your log in information and instructions for accessing the portal. 

The Township can email copies of tax forms and other mailings.  If you choose to receive email notices, paper copies will not be mailed.   If you would like to add or update the email address on your Township tax account please email businesstax@lowermerion.org

Due to the confidential nature of business tax information these are the only contacts that should be used for Business Tax and licensing related issues.  The Township Treasurer's office which answers the tax collector email has no role in the collection of business taxes.
