The online permit portal is available for RESIDENTIAL applications including the below:

 Building Permits, including interior demo, whole house demo, new homes*, additions*, interior renovations/repairs, roofing, solar panels.

• Plumbing
• Electric (site sketch required for EV Chargers and Generators)
• HVAC (site sketch required for NEW equipment location)
• Zoning (including fencing, walkways/driveways, patios, sheds) **

 * Zoning review required for ANY outside work – also use the portal for a Zoning Permit application

** Site plan required for ALL Zoning applications; Impervious Surface Calculation worksheet required for ALL projects involving a change in coverage.

 NOTE: A current Master Contractor License is required for Plumbing, Electric & HVAC Applications

 Uploading of documents – Please be sure to upload any required documents needed for application review. This would include:

• Plans or layouts of rooms (required for ALL building permit applications except Interior Demo and House Demo)
• Signed contract between the property owner and contractor (required for ALL building permit applications)
• Roofing addendum (required for ALL roofing permit applications)
• Permit Compliance Form (required for ALL Building permit applications)
• Site sketch (see above for Zoning)
• Current Certificate of Insurance
• PA HIC registration, for Building / Zoning applications

 *A valid email address is needed to receive a link to make payment, and receive email confirmation of your approved permit.

* IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION – PLEASE DO NOT “TEST” THE SYSTEM.  THIS CREATES DUPLICATE RECORDS AND CAN DELAY THE REVIEW PROCESS.

Please note there is a separate fee paid to the Township’s third-party processing firm of 2.65% of the total transaction with a $3.00 minimum charge. Credit cards accepted include Discover, American Express, Visa and MasterCard.

 *Applying for an online permit is not deemed approved. Please wait for your approval confirmation email containing your actual permit, prior to starting work.
