Lower Merion Cooling and Cell Phone Charging Stations
Montgomery County has issued a Code Red through Monday, June 23, 2025, although we expect it to be extended due to a forecasted heatwave with temperatures above 90 degrees, through the end of the week.
Many of our residents are still without power from Thursday’s storm. Please see the following resource list of cooling and cell phone charging facilities. Note: please bring your charger with you.
Lower Merion Libraries will be your most comfortable option, please see the list below to see their hours:

Focus on staying cool and hydrated. Wear light and loose-fitting clothing and avoid strenuous activities when possible. Drink plenty of fluids, even if you don't feel thirsty. Children and the elderly are especially susceptible to heat related illness.
