Full Access to Phila. Inquirer Now Available Through L.M. Libraries

Post Date:01/03/2020 8:30 AM

The Lower Merion Library System now offers a subscription to the digital edition of The Philadelphia Inquirer. The online version of The Inquirer is fully searchable, and can be browsed like the print edition.  It is updated daily.

The Philadelphia Inquirer includes full-text news articles, editorials, reviews, birth and marriage announcements, obituaries and a variety of special sections, in a text-only version dating back to 1981. You can view full images of the newspaper—with the ability to turn the pages on your screen—for issues beginning in 2018. The Inquirer can be searched from a library computer or from home with a Lower Merion Library card. Montgomery County residents outside Lower Merion can access the service from their home library.

To search the Inquirer, visit www.lmls.org, click on the Explore our E-Library menu and the Online Resources sub-menu. Then scroll down to the Philadelphia Inquirer link.

This service is made possible with funding from the Office of Commonwealth Libraries through the Montgomery County District Library Center in Norristown.
