Electric Landscaping Training and Equipment Demonstration

March 5, 2026 Event 

This half-day training and equipment demonstration will guide landscaping professionals on the transition to electric landscaping equipment.

Lower Merion area landscaping professionals and caretakers of commercial, institutional, and municipal properties are welcome to attend this FREE event, aimed at providing guidance on how to transition to electric equipment to comply with Lower Merion Township's gas powered leaf blower ordinance.

1 hour of expert-led classroom instruction will focus on the logistics, economics and benefits of transitioning to electric equipment. Afterwards, participants will get a hands-on demonstration of electric equipment from manufacturers like STIHL, Kress, Milwaukee, Greenworks, EGO, and more.

Participants will have a chance to win raffle prizes, including handheld blower sets!

Space is limted. Registration is required

While the classroom training (8:30 am - 11 am) is reserved for landscaping professionals only, members of the general public are invited to attend the equipment demonstration (11 am - 1 pm)
