MEETING NOTICE
HISTORICAL ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP

 

  1. Approval of the minutes of the July 29 meeting

  2. 25-20 – 15-17 West Lancaster Avenue – Ardmore Commercial Historic District 
    An application to renovate the “Ardmore Art Alley” between two commercial buildings was reviewed in July. The Ardmore Initiative seeks additional guidance following a paint removal test.

  3. 25-21 – 1017 Black Rock Road – Gladwyne Historic District 
    Application to partially pave the front yard with a vehicular turn-around area. The residence is a non-contributing resource within the Gladwyne Historic District.

  4. 25-16 – 30-38 West Lancaster Avenue – Ardmore Theatre – Ardmore Commercial Historic District 
    A white membrane roof was applied to the east end of the front façade of the theatre building between the cornice and balustrade with a metal termination bar. Work was stopped before additional membrane could be applied to the west end. After an initial review in June, the applicant returns with additional details for their proposed remedy for the unapproved work.
