HISTORICAL ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP
The Tuesday, May 5, 2020 Historical Architectural Review Board Meeting Has Been Cancelled.
The HARB will not be meeting in May, though Township staff will be providing recommendations on two applications to the Board of Commissioners for their scheduled May meeting. Recommendations will be based on comments from members of the HARB and the public. Public comment on these applications is welcome, and will be accepted until noon on Monday, May 4. 20-09 - 565 Barrett Avenue, Haverford - Haverford Station Historic District
Application to construct a rear addition and front porch onto an existing residence, apply new siding, and install a new side entrance door. New windows are to match existing replacements. In addition to the design, HARB will provide a recommendation on Conditional Use approval to reduce the side yard setback to 8 feet to allow for the addition as designed.
20-10 - 537 Old Lancaster Road, Haverford - Haverford Station Historic District
Application to replace non-original stucco on all facades with James Hardie horizontal siding with Hardie corner trim. Original wood window trim is also to be replaced with flat Hardie trim to match the original dimensions, though decorative profiles will not be replicated.
