He was elected to a full term in November, 2007. His principal areas of practice include retail commercial, multi-family residential, and banking facilities.

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Philadelphia Chapter, The Board of Directors of which he is a former member, and he has served on AIA Philadelphia's Committee on Conservation and Historic Preservation, Web Page Committee, and Computer Applications Committee, being a charter member of the last two.

Mr. Manos has held several teaching positions, the last being Chair of the Environmental Design Department at the (then) Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts). Mr. Manos's interest in education continues with his work with the Charter High School for Architecture and Design of Philadelphia, known as "CHAD," of which he is a Trustee and founder. He is past Vice President of the Neighborhood Club of Bala Cynwyd, and until his appointment to the Board, chair of the association's Buildings Committee and MUST Committee.

Mr. Manos, with four sons - Christopher, Tomas, Tristan, and Andrew - all of whom attended Lower Merion Township schools, and six grandchildren, has resided in Lower Merion Township since 1966 and has been a resident of Bala Cynwyd in Ward 9 with his wife, Jane Siegel, for twenty nine years.
