Merion Botanical Park Final Master Plan Sketch (PDF icon-small, 3MB)

Merion Botanical Park is a 13.5-acre park located in Merion. The park was given to the Township in the mid 1940s by the Botanical Society of Lower Merion and the two organizations have maintained a close relationship since then that is dedicated to maintaining the park’s beautiful grounds. The park did not have a preexisting master plan and suggestions and requests have been made by the Botanical Society for improvements to be made in the park such as specimen plants, circulation improvements, pedestrian bridges and stream bank restoration. The planning process involved public participation and was completed by Township staff and Botanical Society with assistance from the Township Engineer where necessary.
