The Township organization’s most valuable asset is its outstanding workforce. Ensuring a safe, fair and professional work environment and an atmosphere that fosters both accountability and appreciation has been a priority of Human Resources Director Roseann McGrath.
Facilitating the Township’s commitment to excellence, quality performance and legal compliance, Ms. McGrath and her team are also responsible for the recruitment, selection and retention of employees, assisting in labor contract negotiations and ensuring good labor-management relations.
Since joining the Township’s management team in 1995, Roseann McGrath has placed a high priority on ensuring that employees understand what their benefits, rights, obligations and expectations are, overseen the administration of employee benefits and created employee development and training opportunities – but perhaps is best known for her caring and compassionate leadership of the Township’s most valued resource; its people.
Prior to joining the Township’s management team, Ms. McGrath specialized in Human Resources in both the healthcare and employment services field. She received a BS in Business Management from Saint Joseph’s University and was acknowledged as the Township’s “Outstanding Senior Manager” in 1995. The Human Resources Department was awarded "Outstanding Work Unit" in 2009.
