Biography

Mr. Paul A. McElhaney took the oath of office as Commissioner for Ward 3 on January 7, 2008. A construction management professional, Mr. McElhaney graduated from Harriton High School and attended Drexel University.

A life-long resident of Belmont Hills, his election continues a family tradition of public service. His great-great-grandfather once served as a member of the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners.

Mr. McElhaney and his wife, Dolly, are the parents of Morgan and Nathan.
