Biography

Philip S. Rosenzweig began his term of office as a member of the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners in January 2006. Mr. Rosenzweig is a partner in Silverang and Donohoe, a real estate, finance and business law firm located on the Main Line. He also serves as general counsel to several area businesses. Mr. Rosenzweig received his Bachelor of Science in Economics with honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business in 1988 and received his J.D. from Villanova University in 1991.

An active participant in a number of neighborhood groups focusing on Ward 6 and its neighborhoods, Mr. Rosenzweig has served on the Board of the Rosemont-Villanova Civic Association, as a Commissioner for the Township’s Shade Tree Commission and also serves as a Ward 6 Committeeman.

Mr. Rosenzweig and his wife, Beth, are the parents of daughter, Thea, a son, Ian and of two West Highland White Terriers, Kelsey and Jack.
