Periodic Closures: Conshohocken St. Rd. Bridge Over Mill Creek
For residents and regular drivers in the area of the Conshohocken State Road Bridge, owned by Montgomery County and crossing over Mill Creek (near the sharp “T” intersection with Mill Creek Road in Gladwyne), repair work is underway on the bridge.
A contractor for the County, Bill Anskis Company, Inc., said that the rehabilitation of the bridge will be completed before the end of 2017, weather permitting. Minimal intermittent lane closures can be expected on weekdays, but only between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The bridge location is marked in yellow highlighter on the map below.
The Conshohocken State Road Bridge is the second County bridge in Lower Merion to undergo extensive work this fall. The Black Rock Road Bridge in Bryn Mawr closed for replacement on October 10th, for six to eight weeks.
