Consultant Issues Final Report on LM Police-Community Relations
Major Ben’s Consulting, LLC, of Collegeville, has completed its Police and Community relations survey and analysis for Lower Merion Township and presented its findings to the Board of Commissioners on Wednesday evening, July 19, 2017, at the start of Police Committee meeting that night. Questions and comments from the public were fielded after the presentation, which can be seen online by clicking here.
The full report, in PDF form, is posted on the Township website here. Its recommendations will be considered by the Board of Commissioners, Lower Merion Police Department and the Police Community Relations Committee at future meetings.
“The Board of Commissioners is pleased that this project has finally been completed and looks forward to considering the recommendations in the report,” said Township Manager Ernie McNeely. “The objective of this effort is to identify means of enhancing relations between our Police and the community, which is an important and worthy effort.”
