MEETING NOTICE
HISTORICAL ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP

Notice is hereby given that the Historical Architectural Review Board of Lower Merion Township will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 8:15 AM in the Board Room on the Second Floor of the Township Building, 75 East Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA. The Board will review the following applications beginning at 8:30 AM:


Application No.         18-07

            Property: 43 Cricket Avenue, Ardmore, PA 19003
            Applicant: David Friedenberg, Image 360
            District: Ardmore

The applicant proposes to install a halo-lit address sign on a backing plate, measuring 16 inches square.

            Property: 11 East Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA 19003
            Applicant: Grace Kim
            District:  Ardmore

Application to install an awning for a new salon business.

 


 

Application No.         18-09

            Property: 426 West Montgomery Avenue, Apt. 6B, Haverford, PA, 19046
            Applicant: Louis & Tara Mazzio
            District: Haverford Station

Application to install three vents on the third floor Old Lancaster Road-facing facade of the stone condominium building, and to install a condensate line resembling a downspout. Placement of the vents and their alignment on the facade was influenced by a past HARB subcommittee’s suggested guidelines. Existing windows and doors are to be restored, and window air conditioning units will be removed.

            Property:  43 Cricket Avenue, Ardmore, PA 19003
            Applicant: Jack Burns/Lee Techner
            District:  Ardmore

This application was denied in March. Since that time, the applicant has agreed to purchase the windows approved as part of the original 2016 application. Applicant seeks approval for other deviations from the original approval, including size/placement of window openings and sign placement.
