Review of the appearance and screening of a cooling tower and boiler room on the roof of the building. These elements had not been presented as aspects of the project when it was reviewed for facade and signage earlier this year. Although construction is nearly complete, the Commission is being asked for advice on material selection and possible screening of these two roof elements.
2 108 North Highland Avenue, Bala Cynwyd – St. Matthias Church Convent – Class 2 – 2017-R-21
Application to install a ramp leading to the front door of the former convent building, built ca. 1940. The exposed face of the ramp wall will be stuccoed to match the look of the building's precast stonework. Railings will be aluminum finished in black. A mounted light fixture will be installed on the face of the building to illuminate the ramp.

3 325 Montgomery Avenue, Haverford – Merion Cricket Club – Class 1 – 2017-R-22
The Club has acquired several parcels adjoining the club grounds and has developed a master plan. Aspects of the plan include reconfiguring paddle and tennis courts, preserving and repurposing four dwellings facing Elbow Lane, adding a pool and pool structure, increasing parking area, and constructing a small addition to the clubhouse. Seven dwellings (none historically designated) with frontages on Elbow Lane, Grays Lane and Cheswold Lane would be demolished. Applicant seeks Conditional Use approval for impervious surface requirements and Land Development.
