Demolition/Renovation Permit

  1. 115 W. Montgomery Ave., Ardmore Presbyterian Church Parish House, Class 2, Ardmore. 2016-R-16
    Applicant proposes to remove existing wood windows and replace with fiberglass replacement windows
    following existing muntin patterns and colors.

  2. 330 Spring Mill Rd., Stoneleigh Carriage House, Class 2, Villanova. 2016-R-18
    Plan to repair and refurbish the exterior of the Carriage House on the Stoneleigh property. A Conditional Use application to use the property as an Estate Preservation Lot under zoning section 155-11.0 has been approved by the Township. Under the proposal, the Carriage House will continue to be used as it has in the past; serving as a maintenance building for property management activities and offices for staff. The second floor will primarily serve as housing for a staff person that will allow for a 24 hour presence on the property. The bulk of the changes to the façade will be limited to those required for Life
    Safety and ADA Accessibility.

  3. 330 Spring Mill Rd., Stoneleigh, Class 2, Villanova. 2016-R-19
    Modifications to the mansion are mostly internal, but will require some exterior modifications. These will largely provide barrier-free access and code-compliant egress to and from the building. New building systems and elevator will also require exterior changes.

  4. 205 E. Athens Ave., Class 2, Ardmore. 2016-R-20
    Multiple additions and modifications to existing residence to provide for four residential units. Will include garages, new materials and finishes, windows, and other changes.

Land Development Plan

  1. 6 Lancaster Ave., Wynnewood, The Palmer Apartments – Class 1 2016-LD-17
    Applicant proposes the construction of a four story apartment building with 22 units. Parking for the units is located beneath the building. The applicant has also submitted applications for the following Conditional Uses:

    • Zoning Code Section 155-95.1 to hold 54 additional required parking spaces in reserve for a total of 124 parking spaces to be held in reserve (the applicant was previously approved to hold 70 parking spaces in reserve);
    • Zoning Code Section 155-152C to allow for the installation of 960 square feet of additional impervious surface necessary to construct the reserve parking when required.
