On Saturday, March 13th from 10 a.m.—4 p.m. and on Sunday, March 14th from Noon—4 p.m., the Ardmore Avenue Community Center will be transformed into a prom paradise for “divas” to shop. “Gowns, dresses, accessories, shoes—our local ‘divas’ can coordinate their entire ensembles! There will be over 200 gowns available for purchase for just $25, and that includes shoes and jewelry to complete the outfit,” remarked Linda Jackson, AACC Leader. All proceeds benefit the Ardmore Avenue Community Center.

Throughout the month of February, citizens donated dry-cleaned dresses, beautiful evening bags and formal shoes. “In these challenging economic times, we want to enable young ladies to put together their prom or formal attire without placing them under financial strain,” added Jackson. “The community support has been tremendous and the Center extends its heartfelt appreciation for the generosity of the donations.”
